First Baptist is a special congregation, mindful of our rich history but also looking forward to where God is leading us. We're a Welcoming & Affirming church that's dedicated to serving our community
in any way we can from our corner of 3rd  Street. 

We often talk about redefining what it means to be Baptist in a way that encapsulates the love and justice of Christ with the autonomy and ability for every member to be a minister. We believe this to be the hallmark of our American Baptist roots.
